Overview
This one-year certificate program equips students with essential knowledge and skills for academic success in health sciences and related fields. Students gain expertise in communications, mathematics, human anatomy, biology, and organic/inorganic chemistry. This program prepares students to advance their studies in health sciences at the diploma, advanced diploma, or degree level. Students explore potential careers in health sciences.
Admission Requirements
Upon successful completion, students are eligible to apply for Seneca programs. Admission to these programs depends on grades in this program (PHS) and the requirements of the specific program of interest.

Program and Course Delivery
This program is offered in Seneca's hybrid delivery format. Some coursework is online, and some must be completed in person. Students need to come on campus to complete in-person learning requirements.
PGWP Eligibility
This program meets Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility requirements (CIP code: 51.1199). International students applying for a PGWP must attend in person, as studying online will impact PGWP eligibility.
