  • Introduction to Labor Trafficking: Examination of Domestic and International Issues
    • This course examines issues related to labor trafficking investigations; Migration vs. Migrant, and examines why certain populations are vulnerable.

      • Discuss the importance of migrant worker programs for countries with low unskilled worker populations
      • Discuss how immigration laws and anti-trafficking laws have conflicting purposes
      • Evaluate how conflict and civil unrest create conditions of vulnerability in population groups
      • Formulate systems and processes that can mitigate risk of labor exploitation in at-risk populations
  • Introduction to Forensics and Human Trafficking
    • Explore the different policing models related to human trafficking, how the regulatory environment impacts investigations, and how criminal organizations use trafficking to finance terrorism, war, and other criminal activity.
