Overview
The Artificial Intelligence in Health Graduate Certificate prepares students with essential skills to apply AI in public health and healthcare settings. Students gain a solid foundation of AI principles and their applications, learn to analyze and interpret complex health data, and to integrate AI technologies into existing healthcare systems. The program also emphasizes ethical considerations and regulatory compliance for responsible use of AI. Graduates will be prepared to leverage innovative AI applications in solving real-world health challenges to improve patient-centered and population health outcomes.
Admissions
Applicants must meet the admission standards and application requirements specified in Graduate Admissions. The application process is competitive, and applications are considered for the fall and spring semesters. The College of Public Health will require the following additional requirements for applicants to the certificate:
- Completed a graduate course in statistics
Applicants seeking enrollment without completing the required course must seek approval, in writing, from the program director.
