Overview

This programme is designed to equip you to work effectively as a community support worker in the health and wellbeing sector. You’ll gain the skills required to assist individuals, families and community groups in the areas of disability support, diversional therapy, employment, housing, budget support and general information that can enhance their health, wellbeing and prosperity.

Fees for 2025

• Domestic Fee: $7,170 - $8,090 per year
• International Fee: $26,000 per year
• Indicative Student Services Fee: $370.50 per year

Academic Requirements

• 10 NCEA Level 1 literacy credits and 10 NCEA Level 1 numeracy credits
• Or New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 3) Ara Support Work and Social Work Pathway or equivalent
