Program Description
Through the flexible, Portland-based master’s program, students will become professional content creators with the journalistic, technical, and entrepreneurial skills to advance their career. Designed for current SOJC undergraduate students who want to stay an extra year and earn a master's degree in Multimedia Storytelling. Apply in your junior year to start taking graduate-level coursework during your senior year in Eugene, then finish out the last year of the program on the Portland campus. This accelerated program offers hands-on experience in visual, explanatory, and narrative storytelling allowing students to build the journalistic and technical skills to stand out in the field, from flying drones and shooting 360-degree footage to editing compelling audio and video.
Prerequisites
- Must be a current SOJC undergraduate student in your sophomore or junior year.
