Overview
This course will take you through varied forms of writing poetry and introduce you to the Aotearoa poetry community. By the end of the course, you'll have explored different ways of seeing, created a portfolio of your own work, and gained a good understanding of what makes poetry work and how to critique it.

What you will learn
This micro-credential will develop the skills for writing original poetry, develop critiquing skills, and introduce students to the New Zealand Poetry community. You'll be able to write poems in a range of poetic forms and styles, constructively comment on the work of peers, and critically reflect on published poetry.
