New Zealand Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering (Level 4)

Overview

Study light automotive engineering and learn from the best. Get the diagnostic skills needed to work on a range of light vehicles. Through block courses and part-time study with evening classes, you'll be able to complete study while continuing to work with your employer as an apprentice in the automotive industry. It's the best of both worlds.

What You Will Learn

Develop your diagnostic skills while working in our diagnosing and repairing labs. Learn about engine systems, engine maintenance, steering, suspension and braking systems and electrical and electronic components.

Entry Requirements

All students:

• Must be employed in an appropriate automotive job full-time to complete this programme, and
• Successfully completed the New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 3), or have equivalent skills and knowledge

Use the knowledge you already have to fast-track your qualification. Workplace-learning, volunteering, professional development, other provider qualifications and online courses can be recognised as prior learning and put towards your qualification.
