What You Will Learn
- Develop your ability to read academic texts and demonstrate understanding
- Learn how to listen to an oral academic text, communicate its meaning and establish key points
- Improve your spoken English by participating in moderately advanced academic conversations
- Develop your written English and learn how to write detailed and well-developed academic texts
Delivery
This programme is delivered face-to-face. You will be required to attend four on-campus days a week. Learning materials to support in-class activities will be available via Moodle (our online learning platform), which will require you to have a computer and internet access at home.
Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of the New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 3 (Applied), or equivalent qualification or experience.
- International applicants are required to have an IELTS score of 5.5 (Academic) with no lower band score of 5.0 or equivalent, or an equivalent described in NZQA Rules.
