MSc Medical Physics in Cancer Radiation Therapy

Overview

The MSc Medical Physics in Cancer Radiation Therapy is a postgraduate program designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed for a career in cancer research and medical physics. The program is offered by the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at The University of Manchester.


Entry Requirements

  • An honours degree (minimum Upper Second class) or overseas equivalent in physics or a related subject.
  • Healthcare professionals with an equivalent qualification will also be considered and may be invited to interview.
  • Applicants with a Lower Second class degree may be considered via interview.

Fees

  • For entry in the academic year beginning September 2025, the tuition fees are as follows:
    • MSc (full-time): UK students £14,000, International students £33,000
    • MSc (part-time): UK students £7,000, International students £16,500

  • All students should normally be able to complete their programme of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that programme.
  • Any unavoidable additional compulsory costs totalling more than 1% of the annual home undergraduate fee per annum will be made clear to you at the point of application.
