Program Overview
Actuarial Science and Actuarial Studies
The Actuarial Science and Actuarial Studies program is a combined bachelor's and master's degree that offers a faster, more streamlined pathway towards a rewarding career as an Actuary. This 4-year program begins with the Bachelor of Actuarial Science, where students learn to evaluate risks, forecast futures, and influence economic structures. They apply mathematical and statistical concepts to real-world scenarios and choose from one of two specializations - Actuarial Studies or Actuarial Analytics - to fine-tune their skills.

Entry Requirements
International Entry Requirements
To be considered for entry into this course, international students must satisfy all of the following requirements:
- Minimum Age: At the time of enrolment in a course at Monash University, you must be at least 17 years of age.
- Academic: All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score.
- Additional Requirements: Prerequisite subjects and English language requirements must also be met.
Prerequisite Subjects
- English: VCE: Units 3 and 4 - English (EAL) with a score of 25 or English (Other) with a score of 25.
- Maths: VCE: Units 3 and 4 - Mathematical Methods with a score of 25 or Specialist Mathematics with a score of 25.
English Language Requirements
- Level A: IELTS (Academic) with an overall score of 6.5 and no band less than 6.0, or equivalent.

- Current Monash Students: You may apply to transfer from another Monash course. Transfers are a competitive process.
Fees
- International Fee: A$53,200 per 48 credit points (subject to change annually).
Enrolment Obligations
International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than one third (33%) of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students must enrol in at least one unit that is not by distance and/or online in each compulsory study period unless the student is completing the last unit of their course.
