Management and Applied Marketing - B6052

Overview

The Master of Management and Applied Marketing is a double degree program designed for marketing professionals who want to enhance their expertise and become leaders in their field. The program focuses on the latest theoretical ideas, insights, and research in marketing, as well as the development of strategic, creative, and quantitative skills to deliver business success.


Course Details

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Entry Requirements (International students):
    • An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a major or minor in marketing with at least a high credit (65%) average or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA).
    • An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of relevant professional experience.
  • English entry requirements:
    • IELTS (Academic): 6.5 Overall score, with minimum band scores: Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0 and Speaking 6.0
    • Pearson Test of English (Academic): 58 Overall score, with minimum scores: Listening 50, Reading 50, Speaking 50 and Writing 50
    • TOEFL Internet-based test: 79 Overall score, with minimum scores: Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18 and Writing 21
  • University entrance requirements: Minimum entrance requirements for admission to Monash University Australia.

Course Structure

Master of Management

The Master of Management is structured in two parts, Part A. Mastery knowledge and Part B. Electives. In the double degree course, you complete:


  • Part A. Mastery knowledge: These units will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of core management principles, contemporary practice, and leadership and their impact on multi-discipline decision-making in organisations.

Master of Applied Marketing

The Master of Applied Marketing is structured in two parts, Part A. Mastery knowledge and Part B. Application studies. In the double degree course, you complete:


  • Part A. Mastery knowledge: These units will provide you with a comprehensive study of core marketing topics and impacts on marketing within organisations.

  • International fee: A$56,800 (note: fees are subject to change annually)

Scholarships

Monash University offers over 360 types of scholarships, valued at up to $280,000. Some scholarships offer one-off payments while others continue for the length of your course.


Enrolment Obligations

International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than one third (33%) of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students must enrol in at least one unit that is not by distance and/or online in each compulsory study period unless the student is completing the last unit of their course.
