Epidemiology - M4028

Course Details

The Graduate Certificate of Epidemiology builds your knowledge of key epidemiological principles including biostatistics, health promotion and disease. This course will develop your practical epidemiological and data analysis skills, as well as the capacity to apply them in public health contexts. Alongside your core studies, you will have the opportunity to explore the epidemiology of communicable and non-communicable diseases, as well as public health challenges, clinical trials and research methods.

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Entry Requirements (International students):
    • Qualifications: An Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent) or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in the field of Health and Public Health.
    • English entry requirements: IELTS (Academic) 6.5 Overall score, with minimum band scores: Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0, and Speaking 6.0; or Pearson Test of English (Academic) 58 Overall score, with minimum scores: Listening 50, Reading 50, Speaking 50, and Writing 50; or TOEFL Internet-based test 79 Overall score, with minimum scores: Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, and Writing 21.
  • University Entrance Requirements: Minimum entrance requirements for admission to Monash University Australia.
