Program Overview


Business and Banking and Finance

The Business and Banking and Finance double degree course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of business and finance. This course is structured in three equal parts, with the first part focusing on business specified study, the second part on business listed major, and the third part on banking and finance.


Course Structure

The course is divided into three parts:


  • Part A: Business specified study, which provides a broad foundation for business and exposes students to several business disciplines.
  • Part B: Business listed major, which provides a focused program of study that develops expertise in one discipline area.
  • Part C: Banking and finance, which develops through the themes of foundation business knowledge, specialist discipline knowledge, and capstone experience.

Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission, students must satisfy the following requirements:


  • Minimum age: 17 years old
  • Academic: Completion of an Australian Year 12 qualification or equivalent
  • Additional requirements: English language proficiency and prerequisite subjects

English Language Proficiency

Students must satisfy English language requirements in one of the following ways:


  • Completion of an English subject in prior secondary studies
  • Completion of half a year of full-time study at an Australian VET Diploma or higher
  • English tests, such as IELTS, TOEFL, or Pearson Test of English

Prerequisite Subjects

Students must satisfy the following prerequisite subject requirements:


  • English: Completion of an English subject in prior secondary studies
  • Maths: Completion of a maths subject in prior secondary studies

Fees

The international fee for this course is $53,200 per 48 credit points, which represents a standard full-time course load for a year.


Enrolment Obligations

International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than one third (33%) of their course by distance and/or online learning.
