Entry Requirements

International Entry Requirements

To be considered for entry into this course, international students must satisfy all of the following requirements:


  • Minimum age requirements: At the time of enrolment, students must be at least 17 years of age.
  • Academic entry requirements: Students must have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score.
  • English entry requirements: Students must satisfy English entry requirements in one of the following ways:
    • English subject (Australian Year 12 equivalent)
    • Language of instruction
    • English tests (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson Test of English)
  • Prerequisite subject requirements: Students must have completed specific prerequisite subjects, such as English, mathematics, and science.

English Tests

The following English tests are accepted, with the specified entry scores:


  • IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall, with minimum band scores of 6.0 in Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing
  • TOEFL iBT: 79 overall, with minimum scores of 12 in Listening, 13 in Reading, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic): 58 overall, with minimum scores of 50 in each component

Course Structure

The Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Fine Art double degree includes:
