Program Overview


Global Business and Management - B6049

The Master of Global Business and the Master of Management is a double degree program that progresses your understanding of contemporary business practice and management through a global business lens. This two-year program is designed to challenge bright business minds and elevate your expertise in exciting and inspiring ways.

Entry Requirements

You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.


Minimum Entry Requirements (International students)

  • Qualifications: An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a major or minor in a cognate discipline with at least a high credit (65%) average or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA).
  • English entry requirements: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 Overall score, with minimum band scores: Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0 and Speaking 6.0
  • University entrance requirements: Minimum entrance requirements for admission to Monash University Australia.

Course Structure

The Master of Global Business is structured in two parts, Part A. Mastery knowledge and Part B. Electives. In the double degree course, you complete:


Part A. Mastery knowledge

The focus of these studies is to develop your knowledge and skills as a critical and creative professional who can apply their understanding and knowledge of the global business and politics environments in order to contribute to solutions that address contemporary global issues.


Master of Management

The Master of Management is structured in two parts, Part A. Mastery knowledge and Part B. Electives. In the double degree course, you complete:


Part A. Mastery knowledge

These units will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of core management principles, contemporary practice, and leadership and their impact on multi-discipline decision-making in organisations. These units will develop your capacity as an innovative future-ready professional who is able to apply specialist knowledge to complex management issues.

International fee

Fees are per 48 credit points which represents a standard full-time course load for a year. The fees for 2025 are:

Scholarships

Enrolment Obligations

International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than one third (33%) of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students must enrol in at least one unit that is not by distance and/or online in each compulsory study period unless the student is completing the last unit of their course. See standard 8.19 and 8.20 of National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018.
