Laws and Biomedical Science
Laws and Biomedical Science is a double degree which combines practical knowledge of the Australian legal system with an understanding of anatomy, epidemiology and preventative medicine, genetics, immunology, microbiology and pharmacology for a career in either field, or one which combines the two.

- Duration: This course is equivalent to 5.25 years of full-time study and offered only in accelerated mode to complete in 5 years.

Entry Requirements
International Entry Requirements
You need to satisfy all of the following requirements to be considered for entry into this course.
- Minimum age requirements: At the time of enrolment in a course at Monash University, you must be at least 17 years of age.
- Academic entry requirements: All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score.
- English entry requirements: All Monash undergraduate courses require you to satisfy English entry requirements in one of the following ways:
- English subject (Australian Year 12 equivalent)
- Language of instruction
- English tests
- Prerequisite subject requirements: All Monash University undergraduate courses require you to have previously studied and achieved required Australian level standards in specific subjects known as prerequisite subjects.

- Level C
- IELTS (Academic): 7.0 overall score, with minimum band scores: Listening 6.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5 and Speaking 6.5
- Equivalent approved English test scores
Prerequisite Subject Requirements
- English: VCE Units 3 and 4 - English (EAL) 35, English (Other) 30
- Science: VCE Units 3 and 4 - Chemistry and one of Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics or Physics 25
How to Apply
- Future students: Apply online through VTAC or directly to Monash using course code L3004
- Current Monash students: Apply to transfer from another Monash course
Fees
- International fee: A$52,300 per 48 credit points (subject to change annually)
Enrolment Obligations
International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than one third (33%) of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students must enrol in at least one unit that is not by distance and/or online in each compulsory study period unless the student is completing the last unit of their course.
