Overview

The Business - Education Diploma is a program designed for students who want to pursue a career in business and education. The course is offered by Monash College and is a pathway to the second year of an Education (Honours) and Business double degree at Monash University.

• Location: On-campus at Docklands: Full time & part time
• Duration: 2 trimesters (8 months)

Entry Requirements

To be accepted into the Business - Education Diploma, students must meet the academic and English language requirements. The minimum entry requirements include:

• Qualifications: Equivalent to Australian Year 12 (part 2)
• Prerequisite subjects: Australian Year 12 Mathematics
• English requirements:
  • Diploma Part 1: IELTS: 5.5 overall (no band lower than 5.0) or TOEFL iBT Paper Edition: score of 46 overall with minimum scores: Writing 14, Speaking 14, Listening 4 and Reading 4
  • Diploma Part 2: IELTS: 6.0 overall (Writing not less than 6.0) or TOEFL iBT Paper Edition: score of 60 overall with minimum scores: Writing 18, Speaking 16, Listening 7, Reading 8

Course Structure

The course consists of six core business units and two education units. Students will also complete 10 days of work placement as part of the course.
