The Master of Arts in Military Psychology program at Adler University is designed to train students to become socially responsible mental health professionals with specialized knowledge of military psychology. Program Description
The program is offered entirely online and can be completed in as few as 12 months. It consists of 36 credits and includes core courses, electives, and a thesis or capstone project. Concentrations
The program offers a concentration in Psychology of Terrorism, which examines the bio-psycho-social-spiritual dimensions of terrorism and its impact on individuals and communities.
Concentration Description
The concentration in Psychology of Terrorism includes courses on the psychology of terrorism, psychological consequence management, and biodefense security. Students will learn about the concepts, goals, strategies, ideologies, and psychological theories associated with terrorist groups and how to manage the psychological consequences of terrorism.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants are required to have:
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
- A GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale)
- Two letters of recommendation
Conditional Admission
Applicants with a GPA between 2.5 and 2.99 may be considered for conditional admission.
