The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program at AUD is an integrated program promoting strategic thinking, ethical values, social responsibility, and cultural diversity.
Program Overview
The M.B.A. program is a 36-hour credit program that encompasses 12 courses consisting of nine core courses and three elective courses. Students can opt for the Generalist M.B.A. or elect for a concentration in Finance, Management, or Marketing.
Program Details
The M.B.A. at AUD is a 36-hour credit program which is studied full-time over approximately 2 years. The program centers around common core subjects such as Managerial Economics, Marketing Management, and Corporate Finance, before splitting into the following electives:
- GENERALIST: A general, non-specialized elective that includes International Finance, Law and Ethics in Business Organizations, Leadership, and Consumer Behavior.
- FINANCE: For students looking to work within the financial sector, this elective focuses on subjects such as Investment Management, Financial Analysis, International Finance, and Financial Institutions and Markets.
- STRATEGIC HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP CONCENTRATION: A management-focused specialism, this elective includes Human Resources Management, Leadership, Law and Ethics in Business Organizations, and Organizational Change and Development.
- MARKETING: Students majoring in marketing can specialize in subjects such as Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, International Marketing, and Marketing for Service Organizations.
Admission Requirements
All applying students must have:
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited national or regional institutional body, achieving a 3.00 GPA or better in undergraduate study.
- International TOEFL or Academic IELTS or the equivalent score on another internationally-recognized English exam.
Facilities
AUD’s School of Business provides its students with the following facilities:
- 11 regular classrooms, three computer labs, four theater-style classrooms, student lounge, conference room, and stock trading room.
- Regular classrooms vary in size and can accommodate anything from 20 to 44 students.
- The AUD/IBM Center of Excellence for Smarter Logistics (CESL) can be set as a board room, a venue for concurrent break-out sessions, a class-room conducive for group discussions or formal lectures.
- Stock trading room has trading terminals and large screens for students to simulate stock trading.
- All classrooms and computer labs are equipped with Instructor PC (HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF) connected to a ceiling-mounted projector and audio speakers.
