Program Overview

The Sewing Certificate is designed to prepare students to independently fabricate, alter, and repair items primarily made from textiles. Upon completing the certificate, students will have gained the skills required to construct textile-based projects using a variety of techniques.

Program Requirements

• SEW 110 Sewing for Beginners I 1 credit
• SEW 111 Sewing Lab 2 credits

Technical Electives

• Select 12 credits of SEW courses.

Total Program Credits

The total program credits required for the Sewing Certificate is 15 credits.
