Program Overview

The Aerospace Manufacturing certificate program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for excellence in aerospace manufacturing. Focusing on safety protocols, both basic and advanced aerospace assembly skills, materials handling, electrical systems, emerging technologies, and industry-standard practices, the certificate program is tailored to ensure graduates are prepared for industry demands. The program employs a comprehensive approach, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, placing importance on safety throughout the curriculum.

Program Requirements

All coursework is completed in one quarter.

  • ELCT 106 Aerospace Assembly and Safety Techniques 3 credits
  • ELCT 107 Avionics Wiring and Fiber Optics Integration 3 credits
  • ELCT 115 Electronics Manufacturing Testing Techniques I 5 credits

Lake Washington Institute of Technology does not offer every course each quarter. It is the student’s responsibility to consult the Class Schedule and work out an individual schedule with an advisor. Any developmental coursework a student may be required to complete may increase the program length.
