The BA (Hons) Languages degrees with a Foundation Year (Stream B - French, Spanish, Linguistics, TESOL, minor Languages) is designed for students who have the potential to study at degree level but do not meet the entry requirements. The foundation year provides a bridge to the linked honours degree, laying the groundwork for entry into Year 1.

  • International students:
    • IB Diploma: with minimum 24 points overall or 72-80 UCAS Tariff points from Higher Level
    • IELTS: 5.5 overall with no component below 5.5, taken within two years of course start date
