MSc Market Research and Analytics
The MSc Market Research and Analytics course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand why businesses and consumers want, need, buy, or use a particular product or service. This course is open to graduates from any discipline or professionals looking to pursue a niche area of marketing.
Course Overview
The course covers a range of marketing-based modules, including business-to-business marketing, marketing communications, and the marketing professional. Students will also study applied marketing research and analytics, decision-making and data visualization, and digital measurement and evaluation. A key feature of the course is the live client brief module, where students will work in a group with a client on a real business challenge.
Course Structure
The course is available as a 1-year full-time program or a 2-year full-time program with an internship. The internship period offers the opportunity to undertake a minimum of 36 weeks of experience in a relevant industry.

- Digital Measurement and Evaluation: This module uses an evidence-based approach to measure performance, evaluating communications strategies and using analytics to gauge success.
- Decision Making and Data Visualization: This module introduces students to state-of-the-art software that aids the visualization, investigation, and sharing of large and complex data sets.
- Applied Research Proposal: Students will create an advanced proposal for a research project, identifying and structuring a complex issue to explore in their applied research project.
- Applied Research Project: Students will investigate the issue identified in their proposal, presenting their conclusions and reflections in a final report.

- Strategy for Digital: This module develops the skills to create a winning digital communications strategy, measure success, and create a seamless experience for clients.

Entry Requirements
- A good UK honors degree – minimum 2:2 – or the international equivalent in any subject.
- IELTS with an overall score of 6.5, with no less than 5.5 in any category, or an equivalent accepted English qualification.
Fees and Funding
- UK and Channel Island students: £11,500 per year.
- EU and non-EU international students: £22,500 per year.
- Self-funding international students may be eligible for the International Scholarship worth £5,000 off the tuition fees.
