BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching and Development

The BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching and Development degree is designed to challenge perceptions, ideas, and understanding of sport coaching and development. Year 1

  • Study: 25% lectures, seminars, or similar; 75% independent study

Placements

Students can opt to spend their third year getting a taste of professional life in a sport or health-related organisation with the four-year placement route.


Entry Requirements

  • Typical offer: 112-120 UCAS tariff points
  • IELTS score: 6.0 with no component below 5.5
  • UK students: 112-120 UCAS tariff points from Level 3 qualifications, with specific requirements for GCSE English and Mathematics
  • International students: Pass the IB Diploma with minimum 28 points overall or 112 UCAS Tariff points from three Higher Level subjects, with specific requirements for English and Mathematics
