Business Economics BSc(Hons)
The Business Economics BSc(Hons) degree offers top-class teaching, the chance to gain industry experience, and a range of exciting modules. This course aims to equip students with the integral skills in and knowledge of business operations and economics.

Graduates with a strong understanding of economics are currently in-demand in the global business industry. The course provides students with the opportunity to study a wide range of subjects, including microeconomics and macroeconomics, international economics, industrial economics, and decision science.

Course Details
- The course offers a one-year (48 weeks) work placement after the second year, in the UK or abroad.
- Core modules include Introduction to Macroeconomics, Introduction to Microeconomics, Statistics for Social Sciences, and Mathematics for Social Sciences.
- Option modules may include Introduction to Financial Services and Understanding Global Dynamics.
- In the second year, core modules include Intermediate Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Econometrics, and International Economics and Globalisation.
- Option modules may include Business Creation and Development and Leadership: Theory and Practice.
- In the final year, core modules include Applied Econometrics, Undergraduate Dissertation, and Decision Science.
- Option modules may include Industrial Economics, Marketing for Small Business, and Advances in Leadership.

Fees and Finance
The maximum fees for UK-based students on undergraduate courses in 2025/26 will be £9,535 per year for full-time students.
