Entry Requirements

  • A Level: BBC
  • BTEC: DMM
  • Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits at Merit or above
  • 112-104 UCAS tariff points from International Baccalaureate qualifications
  • GCSE English Language at grade 4 or above
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and health clearances
  • IELTS 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent, for international students

Placements

Placement experience is highly regarded by employers and enables students to understand practice alongside experienced mentors and practitioners. Students will undertake a minimum of 120 hours in a work placement in Year 2, with options to focus on educational practice, supporting children with special educational needs, or settings that focus on supporting families.


Fees and Finance

  • The maximum fees for UK-based students on undergraduate courses in 2025/26 will be £9,535 per year for full-time students.
  • Additional costs may include travel for placements and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
