The Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) is one of the highest and most prestigious management qualifications in the UK. Program Structure
- A taught program of study is carried out in the first two years, providing preparatory training for the doctoral research phase.

- Students may only progress to the research phase after successfully completing the taught element.
- The doctoral research phase constitutes the substantive component of the DPA program, requiring an individual supervised research project written up in the form of a doctoral thesis.
Entry Requirements
- A Master's level or equivalent qualification, normally with a classification of merit or distinction, and having held or holding a Senior Management position for three or more years.
- Applicants must submit a 3,000-word research proposal indicating the area of Business/Management/Administration/Leadership to be researched.
- A reliable internet connection is required.
- If the first language is not English, students must meet the minimum English Language qualification requirements, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall and no element lower than 6.0.

Duration and Fees
- The maximum duration for a DPA is 4 years (48 months) full-time or 6 years (72 months) part-time, with an optional submission pending (writing-up) period of 12 months.
- Tuition fees for the 2025/26 academic year:
- Full-time: £10,500 per annum for Years 1 and 2, £4,500 per annum for Years 3 and 4, totaling £30,000.
- Part-time: The total tuition fee is £30,000, with additional fees incurred for extended supervision beyond the maximum duration.
