Overview

The Engineering Management MSc at the University of Huddersfield is designed to meet the industry demand for management-focused engineers. This course aims to deepen students' knowledge and skills in engineering, technology, and applied science, while also gaining the confidence and competencies to excel in senior management positions.

Entry Requirements

• An Honours degree (2:2 or above) in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related science subject area such as physics or mathematics, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• If the first language is not English, students will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall and no element lower than 5.5.

Teaching and Assessment

• Modules will follow a uniform pattern of delivery, including a blend of delivery methods facilitating both individual and collaborative aspects of learning.
• Formal assessments are designed to measure achievements in meeting the learning outcomes of individual modules, including exams, in-class tests, reports on laboratory experiments, laboratory-based assignments, and projects.

Fees and Finance

Tuition Fees - Full-time

• In 2025/26, the full-time tuition fee for UK postgraduate students on this course will be £9,900 (Band 3).
• Tuition fees for UK students will cover the cost of study at the University.
