Human Resource Management (Top-up) BA(Hons)

Overview

This top-up course allows students to build on their existing knowledge and skills to understand the role human resource management plays in a business, and how they can play a part in the industry. The course is ideal for those who have already studied a business subject to diploma level and want to understand the world of HR.


How to Learn

Students will learn through practical application and delivered lectures, workshops, seminars, and group work sessions. The course will focus on the strategic elements of people resourcing and the contribution that these activities can make to organisational success and achieving a high-performing workforce in a rapidly changing environment.

Key Information

Entry Requirements

  • Higher National Diploma or equivalent (e.g., two-year advanced diploma level or comparable qualifications, or European equivalent to 120 ECTS points).
  • Foundation degree or 120 ECTS.
  • If the first language is not English, students will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent.

Fees and Finance

Tuition Fees - Full-time

  • The maximum fees for UK-based students on undergraduate courses in 2025/26 will be £9,535 per year for full-time students (subject to parliamentary approval).

Tuition Fees - Part-time

  • The maximum fees for UK-based students on undergraduate courses in 2025/26 will be £1,589 per 20 credit module and £2,384 per 30 credit module per year for part-time students (subject to parliamentary approval).
