Overview

Entry Requirements

• An Honours degree (2:2 or above) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Systems, or a closely related science subject area or an equivalent professional qualification.
• If the first language is not English, a minimum English Language qualification of IELTS 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent, is required.

Teaching and Assessment

• Modules will follow a uniform pattern of delivery, including a blend of VLE materials, tutor-led discussions, quizzes, assignments, and face-to-face sessions.
• Formal assessments are designed to measure achievements in meeting the learning outcomes of individual modules, including exams, in-class tests, reports, and projects.

Fees and Finance

Tuition Fees - Full-time

• In 2025/26, the full-time tuition fee for UK postgraduate students on this course will be £9,900 (Band 3).
• Tuition fees for UK students will cover the cost of study at the University.
