Overview of Quantity Surveying BSc(Hons)
The Quantity Surveying BSc(Hons) course at the University of Huddersfield is designed to provide students with the necessary skills to become a professionally qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor. Course Details
- The course is a three-year full-time program, with an optional placement year.
- The program is designed to work alongside other courses in Architecture, Architectural Technology, and Construction Project Management to develop a strong understanding of professionalism within the construction industry and how to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Two crucial tools for today’s quantity surveyor are Lean Construction and Building Information Modelling (BIM), which are explored in depth on the course.
