Modules and Learning

- Stage 1: Introduction to Marketing and Consumer Behaviour, Introductory Business Economics, Human Physiology and Practical Skills, Practical and Career Development Skills for Nutrition, Introduction to Food and Nutrition, Sustainable & Secure Food Systems, Bioenergetics.
- Stage 2: Marketing Strategy, New Food Product Development, Global Food Policy, Macro- and Micronutrients, Food Science and Technology, Nutrition Through the Lifecycle, Measurement and Assessment of Dietary Intake and Nutritional Status.
- Stage 3: Data & Marketing Analytics, Agrifood Communication and Behaviour Change, Research Project, Personalised Nutrition, Nutritional Epidemiology and Public Health, optional modules including Contemporary Issues in Food and Human Nutrition, Nutrition Enterprise and Career Skills, Allergens and the Food Industry, Making Sense of Forgotten Senses: Investigating Olfaction and Gustation, Applied Sport and Exercise Nutrition.
Teaching and Assessment
Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, small group tutorials, and practical classes. Assessment methods include case studies, dissertation or research project, essays, examinations, presentations, and projects.
