Introduction to Agri-Business Management BSc Honours

The Agri-Business Management BSc Honours course is designed to prepare students for an exciting career managing businesses involved in taking products through the supply chain, from farms to global markets. This applied course combines business management skills with key challenges of securing a sustainable food supply for this and future generations.

Stage 1

Opportunities

The course provides opportunities for study abroad, work placements, and research projects. Students can spend a semester or a full academic year studying at one of the university's partner institutions overseas. The work placement is a great opportunity to gain practical experience, acquire key business skills, and make industry contacts.


Facilities and Environment

The Agriculture Building is the home of the agri-food business and land management degrees and is located on the university's city-centre campus. The building has state-of-the-art facilities, including a test kitchen and the award-winning Centre for Rural Economy. Students also have access to two commercial farms, Cockle Park Farm and Nafferton Farm, where they can gain practical experience.


Your Future

The Agri-Business Management BSc can provide a route into various careers across a broad range of industries. Having gained specialist knowledge, as well as transferable business skills, students will be prepared for roles in the food and retailing sector as well as the land-based and business sectors. Entry Requirements

All candidates are considered on an individual basis, and the university accepts a broad range of qualifications. The entrance requirements and offers below apply to 2026 entry.


  • A-Level: ABB excluding General Studies. GCSE Mathematics grade B or 6 required if not taken at A or AS Level.
  • International Baccalaureate: 32 points. Standard Level Mathematics or Mathematical Studies required at grade 5 if not offered at Higher Level.

Tuition Fees and Scholarships

The 2026 entry home fees have not yet been confirmed. International students will pay £31,500 per year. The university offers a range of scholarships, including Vice-Chancellor's automatic and merit-based scholarships.
