Program Overview
Course Details
The course "Exploring 3D Anatomy" is designed to improve observation skills, particularly visual and haptic observation abilities. The course begins with visualization exercises, proceeds to visual and haptic observation exercises, and concludes with the Haptico-visual observation and drawing method (HVOD), taught step-by-step.
Course Information
The evidence-based activities and exercises in this course support the development of observational skills, 3D spatial awareness, and conceptualization of 3D human anatomy. This understanding can be applied to current studies and future clinical practice. The course guides students through a series of simple, practical, and effective learning exercises using everyday household objects and occasional use of their own anatomy. Video demonstrations by Iain and Leonard will guide students through the practical exercises.
