Introduction to PPIE in Research

This programme is open to people and organisations based in the North East and North Cumbria, as well as those from the following organisations:

• NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC)
• NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC)
• NIHR Innovation Observatory (IO)
• NIHR Research Support Service (RSS)
• NIHR Policy Research Unit (PRU)
• NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN)
• NIHR HRC in Diagnostic and Technology Evaluation (HRC)

Eligibility Criteria

The programme is open to the specified organisations and locations.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the module, a learner will be able to:

• Understand the PPIE landscape from the perspective of both public contributors and researchers
• Ensure that PPIE is included in all aspects of ongoing and future research opportunities
• Understand how to make PPIE meaningful and deliver real impact```
