Master of Speech and Language Sciences MSpeech Honours
The Master of Speech and Language Sciences degree is a four-year program that prepares students for a career as a leader in speech and language therapy. This accredited program provides eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a speech and language therapist and to apply for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
Course Overview
The program includes core modules in speech and language pathology, such as causes, diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in adults and children. Students gain an understanding of speech and language therapy practice through case-based teaching and high levels of clinical work.

Entry Requirements
The entrance requirements for the program include:
- AAB at A-level, normally including one of the core sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- A minimum of 34 points with three subjects at grade 5 or above at Higher Level, including 1 core science, in the International Baccalaureate
- GCSE Mathematics and English required (minimum grade B or 6)
