The YCT Oral Intermediate Exam is an international standardized test for Chinese language proficiency, designed to assess the ability of primary and secondary school students to use Chinese as a second language in their daily and academic life.

YCT Oral (Intermediate Level) Test Details

  • The YCT Oral (Intermediate Level) test assesses the test takers' oral Chinese language skills.
  • Those who pass YCT Oral (Intermediate Level) can understand and engage in simple oral communication with native Chinese speakers using Chinese.
  • The YCT Oral (Intermediate) test is divided into three parts, with a total of 14 questions.
  • The exam duration is 21 minutes, including 10 minutes of preparation time.
  • Test Start Time (All local times): 11:00.
  • The YCT Oral Test (Intermediate Level) has a maximum score of 100, and a passing score is 60 or higher.
