Program Overview
Course Information
Train the Trainers is a 2-day in-person course on the fundamentals of how to teach for healthcare professionals. We will cover skills required for engaging teaching sessions in classrooms, and in clinical environments, as well as skills for supervising and mentoring learners.
As a highly interactive course, you will have the chance to practice the skills covered as we progress through and receive ongoing developmental feedback to equip you to be confident in your teaching. We have sought accreditation from the Royal College of Physicians. We will be using a variety of methods for learning, including group activities, small group discussions, and roleplay.
There is a lot to learn about educational theory and practice, and if you want to dive in deeper, we have curated a set of additional materials which are included as part of the course.
