Professional Accreditation and Recognition
This degree is professionally accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN), allowing graduates to apply for direct entry into the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists at associate level and use the letters ANutr after their name without undergoing further assessment.

Facilities and Environment
The program is based at the Newcastle city-centre campus, in the School of Biomedical, Nutritional and Sports Sciences. Facilities include a nutrition training suite, consultation rooms, sensory analysis booths, and well-equipped biomedical science laboratories.

Students have access to an academic member of staff as a personal tutor throughout their degree, as well as peer mentors in the first year.

Entry Requirements
- A-Level: BBB including at least one of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Maths, plus a second science-related subject.
- International Baccalaureate: 30 points including Biology or Chemistry at Higher Level Grade 5 or above, plus at least one other STEM subject.
- Other qualifications are considered on an individual basis.
Tuition Fees and Scholarships
- Home students: Tuition fees for the academic year have not been confirmed.
- International students: £30,900 for the first year.
- Scholarships are available for EU and international students.
