Program Overview


Overview of the AI and Ethics CPD Course

The AI and Ethics CPD course is designed to explore the challenges posed by the increasing use of artificial intelligence and data in new technologies. The course delves into cutting-edge work from moral philosophy and legal scholarship, examining the ethical, societal, legal, and political significance of AI implementation.


Course Description

The course covers a range of topics, including:


  • An Introduction to Moral Philosophy and the Ethics of AI
  • Self-Driving Cars and Algorithmic Bias – Two case studies in Ethics and Regulation
  • Privacy, Free Speech, and Political Philosophy
  • Automation and Virtual Worlds
  • A.I. Safety and the Singularity
  • A.I., Autonomy, and Rights

Course Structure

The course is delivered via online webinar over six weeks, with class times on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Participants will need to complete all required CPD exercises to be awarded the Certificate of Completion.
