Introduction to the MSc Information Systems and Digital Innovation

The MSc Information Systems and Digital Innovation is a cutting-edge master's programme designed to equip students with the critical technological and analytical skills needed for the implementation and leadership of information systems and digital innovation initiatives. Programme Overview

This master's programme explores the principles and practice of information systems and digital innovation, with a strong focus on topical business challenges. Students will develop a solid suite of functional hard skills, such as managing information systems, new technologies (including SAP S/4 HANA), cloud computing, ethical AI, technology-driven business models, basic coding, and analytics. Additionally, students will build key soft skills employers are looking for, including creative problem-solving, critical thinking, team working, communication, personal resilience, and dealing with organisational volatility.

Assessment

Assessment is via coursework only – there are no exams. Module assignments are based on real-world problems and incorporate a mixture of presentations, written reports, and essays. Students will also complete a 15,000-word dissertation based on a research topic of their choice.
