Our Information Technology Management for Business (ITMB) degree covers a vibrant mix of transferable skills and knowledge for those who want exciting and challenging management or professional careers designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions for businesses.

The ITMB degree is designed to offer an insight into the real world of IT. It allows students to learn the people and project management skills required to be a successful IT professional.

Across the course, students will learn to evaluate and understand technology and its role within business and gain practical experience working on real-world business challenges.

How You'll Be Assessed

• Depending on the nature of the material, some modules are assessed by a mixture of coursework and examination.
• Coursework is based on a variety of tasks including programming, individual reports, projects, laboratory work, contribution in tutorials, group work, and presentations.

Placement Year

• The course comes with the option to undertake a professional placement for a year, at the end of which students will gain a Diploma in Professional Studies (DPS).
• A professional placement year is an excellent way to add value to the degree, enabling students to put their skills and knowledge into practice and giving them substantial industry experience that can really help their CV stand out in the competitive market for graduate jobs.
