Introduction to the MSc Risk, Governance and International Management Program

Program Structure

The program is structured into two semesters, with a range of compulsory and optional modules. The compulsory modules include:


  • Comparative Management (15 credits): Examines the distinctiveness of national business systems and investigates the context of management in comparative perspective.
  • International Business in Contexts (15 credits): Equips students with the necessary academic skills to understand the challenges firms face in different developing countries and assessing different ways in which firms can overcome these challenges.

  • Collaborative Project (15 credits): Provides students with an opportunity to be exposed to project-based teamwork in diverse settings.
  • Corporate Governance (15 credits): Equips students with the necessary academic skills to understand the role corporate governance plays in generating financial and economic development.
  • Comparative Political Economy (15 credits): Provides business awareness regarding how businesses and other economic actors are influenced by sectoral, national, and global institutions.
  • Managing Sustainability (15 credits): Develops students' understanding of sustainability and maps out the relationship between sustainability and global business.
