The Lir Academy - The Clown Within Weekend Workshop is a transformative program that invites participants to explore the art of clowning. Influenced by the methodology of Jacques Lecoq and the disciplines of Theatre of Clown, Neutral Mask, and Gestural Language, this physical and creative approach draws on the imagination and offers a place to explore and be challenged.

Program Details

• The program is designed for anyone looking to step into a space of joy, laughter, and self-exploration.
• No prior experience in theatre of clown is necessary, just bring curiosity, willingness to play, and an open heart.
• The focus will be on embracing vulnerability, celebrating imperfections, and discovering the unique comedic persona that resides within each participant.

• The course takes place on the weekend of Saturday, June 7th, 2025, from 10am-5pm.

Course Fees

• The course fee is €300.

Program Objectives
