Overview

The Education, Art Education Option, B.A. program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in art and teaching methods. The program combines coursework in art, education, and pedagogy to prepare students for a career in teaching art at the K-12 level.

Tulsa Curriculum and First Year Experience (47 - 49 hours)

• Core Curriculum and First Year Experience (22 - 24 hours)
  • FYE 1001 First Year Experience
  • ENGL 1033 Exposition and Argumentation or FS 1963 First Seminar I and FS 1900 Writing Studio
  • FS 1973 First Seminar II
  • MATH 1083 Contemporary Mathematics (STAT 2013 or a higher MATH course taken for the major requirements will fulfill this requirement)
  • Language (12-14 hours)
