Xavier’s fully online, 12-credit hour certificate in Healthcare Quality and Process Improvement is designed to equip students with the skills needed to enhance patient safety, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and lead transformative changes.
Curriculum
The certificate program consists of 4 courses that can be taken on a flexible schedule.
- HESA 511: Managerial Concepts in HC Organizations (3 credits)
- HESA 521: Quantitative Methods for Healthcare Administration (3 credits)
- HESA 523: Quality and Process Improvement (3 credits)
- HESA 559: Healthcare Project Administration or HESA 567: Applied Epidemiology (3 credits)
Admission
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum of one year of healthcare experience To be considered for admission, students must submit:
