Program Overview

The Geology program at North Seattle College is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field of geology, preparing them for transfer to a four-year college or university and eventual careers in geology and related fields.


Program Details

The program is an Associate of Science - Transfer, Track 1 (LRST1AS) degree, which requires the completion of 90-93 units. The curriculum includes courses in geology, mathematics, chemistry, biology, and physics, as well as electives in visual, literary, and performing arts, and individuals, cultures, and societies.


Estimated Length of Completion

The program can be completed in six quarters (two years) for full-time students, although part-time students may take longer to complete the degree.
