The Associate of Science - Transfer (LASDTAS) degree in Math is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in mathematics, preparing them for transfer to a four-year college or university. This degree pathway meets the requirements for the Associate in Arts: Science Focus DTA with a concentration in Math.
Program Details
- The program consists of 90 units, which can be completed in six quarters of full-time study.
- The curriculum includes courses in precalculus, calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations, as well as general education requirements in English, humanities, and social sciences.
- Students develop skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and abstract and symbolic reasoning.

- Full-time: 6 quarters
- Part-time: variable, depending on the number of units taken per quarter

North Seattle College has direct transfer agreements with four-year institutions throughout Washington state, including the University of Washington, Washington State University, and Seattle University. Math graduates from North have also transferred to out-of-state institutions. Program and admissions requirements vary from college-to-college.
