Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science, Nursing (BScN) program at Cape Breton University prepares students to be eligible to practice as registered nurses in a variety of health care settings. The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become competent and compassionate nurses.
Admission Requirements
Admission to the BScN program varies by pathway. Canadian students and international students have different admission requirements.
- Canadian Students:
- English 12 (academic or advanced)
- Math 12 (academic or advanced)
- 2 Science 12 level academic or advanced (biology & chemistry recommended)
- 1 additional grade 12 academic or advanced level course
- International Students:
- IELTS or equivalent of 7.0 with no band below 6.5
- Advanced Standing Nursing Pathway available
