Program Overview

Program Overview

The Master of Science in Finance (MSF) Program prepares non-finance undergraduates to launch finance-related careers without the full-time work experience required by an MBA. Students with a quantitative undergraduate degree in areas such as economics or STEM, combined with the MSF, are highly sought after by corporate, government, consulting, and financial services employers.

Program Description

The Master of Science in Finance (MSF) "STEM to Stocks" Program is a 36-hour, non-thesis degree that prepares non-finance undergraduate students for finance-related careers in corporate/government, consulting/professional services, and financial services. The program is specifically designed for STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) and economics majors. Admission is available to Texas A&M undergraduate students who have exactly two summers remaining prior to completing their undergraduate degree with either a May or December graduation date (typically current or rising sophomores). Students complete 14 of the required 36 graduate hours while still an undergraduate.
